Glendale Rose Float Association is condicting a raffle for one seat
on the City of Glendale's float in the 2009 Tournament of Roses Parade. Tickets are $10 each, and only 200 will
be sold. The winner will be selected in November.
"For someone, this will be the ride of their life", said Joyce Sokoloff, President of the Glendale Rose
Float Association. "The float represents all of Glendale, and we want to make sure that everyone in Glendale has
a chance to ride on the City's float".
Individuals wishing
to purchase raffle tickets can mail a check to:

The checks should note that it is for raffle tickets. Ticket stubs
with their ticket numbers will be mailed to the purchasers.

Rider Requirements & Information
The 2009 Tournament of Roses Parade will be on Thursday, January 1, 2009. You will need to be at Glendale City
Hall by 5:00 am.
You will be required to be at the float judging, which will occur on the morning of December 31,
2008.
You will be required to be at the dress rehearsal, which will occur on the evening of December 28, 2008.
You are encouraged to participate in the decoration of the float, which begins on Saturday, December 6, 2008.
The Glendale Rose Float Association will provide you with your costume.
Costume fittings will be scheduled between November
15, 2008 & December 15, 2008.
Riders must be at least 13 years of age.
Float rider seats may not
be resold or bartered.
